Fire warnings issued for two Australian states today

Fire warnings have been issued for two states in Australia today due to extreme heat conditions.

Weather reports indicate that Victoria and parts of South Australia will experience temperatures reaching 40°C.

Residents of Melbourne and Adelaide will face high temperatures of 36°C and 38°C, respectively.

Mt Gambier and Mildura in Victoria, along with parts of South Australia, are expected to hit 40°C.

The weather department notes that today’s temperatures are 6 to 12 degrees above the February average.

As a result, outdoor fires are banned in South Australia, as well as in Melbourne and the Mount Lofty Range.
