Multiple users across several countries reported difficulties accessing Facebook today (12), with many claiming they were unexpectedly logged out of their accounts and unable to sign back in.

Reports of the disruption rapidly increased on online outage-monitoring platforms, with users citing login failures, account access issues, and problems using certain features of the social media network.

Some users said they were repeatedly prompted to enter their login details despite using the correct credentials, while others reported being completely locked out of their accounts.

According to user reports, the apparent outage affected both the Facebook mobile application and the web version of the platform.

Meta, the parent company of Facebook, had not issued an official statement on the issue at the time of publication.

It remains unclear whether the disruption is affecting users globally or is limited to specific regions, as investigations into the cause of the issue continue.
