Ex-Woolworths CEO Brad Banducci joins ticketek’s parent company

Former Woolworths CEO Brad Banducci has been appointed as the new chief executive of Ticketek’s parent company, TEG.

He takes over from Geoff Jones, who has been promoted to chairman after 14 years in the role.

Jones expressed confidence in Banducci’s leadership, stating that his proven track record makes him the ideal person to guide TEG into its next phase. Banducci, in turn, said he was honored to join TEG and looked forward to enhancing live experiences for customers and stakeholders.

Banducci stepped down as Woolworths CEO on February 21, 2024, the same day the company reported a $781 million half-year loss. His resignation also followed a controversial ABC Four Corners interview and a government-mandated inquiry into supermarket pricing practices.

Having been with Woolworths since 2011, Banducci rose from managing director of liquor to CEO in 2016. He will officially begin his new role at TEG on March 31.
