Euky Bear vaporiser recalled due to overheating risk

A popular vaporiser designed to improve sleep, the Euky Bear Warm Steam Vaporiser, has been recalled due to safety concerns that it could cause burns.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) issued a product safety warning, stating that if the device is not turned off after use, the blue heating module may overheat, disintegrate, and release smoke and fumes.

There is also a risk of burns if the exposed heating module finger comes into contact with users.

This follows a previous recall of four batches in 2023 for the same issue, but the current recall now includes all units with the model number EBSV2013.

Consumers are urged to stop using the product immediately, unplug it, and safely dispose of it.

They are advised not to return the device to the store but instead contact Felton Grimwade & Bosisto’s Pty Ltd, the manufacturer, to arrange a replacement.

Euky Bear, an Australian-owned company established 40 years ago, is known for producing baby and children’s wellness products.
