Former Member of Parliament Eran Wickramaratne has been appointed as the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Cricket Restructuring Committee, following a major administrative overhaul at Maitland Place.
The Ministry of Sports has also named a multi-member committee of former national cricketers and professionals to assist him in managing the affairs of Sri Lanka Cricket.
The committee includes former national captains Roshan Mahanama and Kumar Sangakkara, along with Sidath Wettimuny. Other members appointed are Thushira Radella, Avanti Colombage, Prakash Schaffter, and Upul Kumarapperuma.
These appointments come after the resignation of Sri Lanka Cricket President Shammi Silva and the entire Executive Committee.
