Minister of Power and Energy Kumara Jayakody told Parliament today that the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) will not be privatised, but all employees will be reassigned under four new companies to be established as part of the government’s unbundling programme.
He further stated that employees must inform authorities of their preferred placement under the new companies before 27th of October this year.
