End domestic violence this Easter

Police have reported a rise in domestic violence incidents during the Easter holiday period.

Last year, Victoria alone recorded 1,247 cases of domestic violence during Easter.

This figure marks a 23% increase compared to the previous year, according to crime statistics.

Police are urging the public to prioritize the well-being of their loved ones during the holidays.

Authorities emphasize that Easter is a valuable time for families to connect and support each other.

Security forces encourage anyone witnessing or experiencing violence to report it to the police immediately.
