A notice has been issued outlining the opening times of liquor stores over the Easter holidays across several Australian states.
In Victoria, liquor stores will be closed on Good Friday, though alcohol can still be consumed in licensed venues such as restaurants and cafes. Stores will reopen as usual on Easter Saturday and Sunday.
In New South Wales, most retail stores will be closed on Good Friday, including liquor stores. However, licensed restaurants will be allowed to serve alcohol on-site that day. Liquor sales will resume as normal on Saturday and Sunday, and continue into the following week.
Across many other states, liquor stores will also remain closed on Good Friday and reopen from Saturday onwards.
