Driver jumps out of moving train

The driver of a high-speed train near Paris tragically jumped from the train and took their own lives.

At the time of the incident, approximately 400 passengers were aboard the train.

The train continued its journey without a driver, but fortunately, it was eventually stopped by its automatic control system.

The train was able to halt near the town of Mellum, located 40 kilometers south of Paris, around 9 p.m. on Christmas Day.

Thankfully, none of the passengers on board were harmed during this unsettling event.

The train, which was headed from Paris to Saint-Etienne, was packed with people traveling home to celebrate Christmas Eve.

The exact reason behind the driver’s suicide remains unknown at this time.
