Novak Djokovic described himself as “blessed” after securing his 100th Wimbledon victory with a commanding third-round win over fellow Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic.
The seven-time champion dispatched Kecmanovic 6-3, 6-0, 6-4 in just one hour and 50 minutes at the All England Club.
Djokovic joins an elite group, becoming only the third player to reach 100 Wimbledon wins, alongside Martina Navratilova and Roger Federer.
A Wimbledon title this year would bring Djokovic his 25th Grand Slam title, breaking the all-time record.
He celebrated the milestone with a playful dance routine, a tradition he shares with his children during the tournament.
The 38-year-old sixth seed will face Australia’s Alex de Minaur in the fourth round as he continues his bid for history.
Djokovic’s flawless serving and court movement dazzled the Centre Court crowd, with one off-balance backhand winner earning a standing ovation.
Despite a single late-match break, Djokovic remained dominant, sending a strong message that he’s still a major threat at Wimbledon.
With top seed Jannik Sinner also in top form, a semi-final clash between the two is highly anticipated.
Djokovic, who hasn’t lost to anyone but Carlos Alcaraz at Wimbledon since 2017, may now have his best chance yet to make Grand Slam history.
