The Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau (SLBFE) will host the Migrant Workers’ Fair tomorrow (20) at Diyatha Uyana in Battaramulla, showcasing a diverse range of products created by returning migrant workers.
The event marks the 40th anniversary of the SLBFE and aims to support Sri Lankans who have successfully launched businesses after completing foreign employment.
Over 60 stalls will feature items such as textiles, handbags, shoes, spices, beauty products, wooden crafts, traditional medicines, and food products—all offered at subsidized prices.
Organized by the Bureau’s Integration Division, the fair will be open to the public from 9:00 a.m. onwards.
The SLBFE has invited the public to attend and support migrant workers by purchasing high-quality goods at affordable prices.
