Veteran international motor racing driver Dilantha Malagamuwa has been officially appointed as the brand ambassador of Negombo-based VIP Travels.
The appointment was announced during a special ceremony held on the afternoon of 14th of June .
A renowned figure in the global racing scene, Mr. Malagamuwa is set to compete in 10 international motor racing events this year under the GT-4 Motor Racing Championship and the European Motor Racing Championship. These races will take place across Belgium, France, Italy, Germany, and Spain.
With Sri Lanka expected to participate in more international racing events in the future, VIP Travels has stepped in as a sponsor, recognizing the significance of the country’s growing motorsport presence.
Through this partnership, both VIP Travels and Sri Lanka’s image in the global motor racing landscape are expected to gain greater visibility and recognition.
