The Department of Posts has announced plans to expand its international courier service.
Deputy Postmaster General Thusitha Hulangamuwa stated that the service, currently available to 46 destinations, will soon be expanded to 59 countries.
This service allows individuals and organizations to send legal letters or items abroad.
Items and documents can be submitted at any of the 4,000 post and sub-post offices across the island.
Hulangamuwa emphasized that the service, which offers the lowest fees under state supervision, ensures delivery within seven days.
