Delhi Capitals clinched a thrilling win in the Super Over after their IPL match against Rajasthan Royals ended in a tie yesterday (16th) in Delhi.

Rajasthan Royals won the toss and chose to field first.

Batting first, Delhi Capitals posted 188 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their 20 overs.

Key contributions came from Abhishek Porel (49), K.L. Rahul (38), Tristan Stubbs (34*), and Axar Patel (34).

Jofra Archer took 2 wickets, while Mahesh Theekshana and Wanindu Hasaranga claimed one wicket each for Rajasthan.

In reply, Rajasthan Royals matched the target, scoring 188 for 4 in their allotted 20 overs, forcing the match into a Super Over.

Rajasthan Royals batted first in the Super Over and managed 11 runs, losing 2 wickets.

Delhi Capitals chased the target in just 4 balls, scoring 13 runs and securing the victory.

Mitchell Marsh was named the Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.

With this win, Delhi Capitals have now won 5 out of 6 matches and have reclaimed the top spot on the points table.

Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad are set to face Mumbai Indians tonight (17th) at the Wankhede Stadium.
