Dayasiri defends ex-SIS chief: “Nilantha Jayawardene did his job”...

Former SIS Chief Nilantha Jayawardene fulfilled his duties by sharing all relevant intelligence regarding the Easter Sunday attacks since 2015, MP Dayasiri Jayasekera stated.

He emphasized that Jayawardene had repeatedly warned state authorities, including then Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando, about the imminent threat from January 2019, and argued that it is unfair for the Police Commission to expel him under such circumstances.
