The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) is set to overhaul its employee recruitment process for the first time in 35 years.
Managing Director Dr. Mayura Nettikumara stated that the reform aims to eliminate irregularities that have existed in the recruitment system.
He also revealed that the current workforce of around 3,000 employees hired since 2012 will be reduced to approximately 2,031 essential staff members.
