The Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court has moved forward with proceedings related to the controversial placement of a funeral wreath outside the residence of former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella.

The case centres on an investigation involving Dr. Chamal Sanjeewa, who is accused of leaving the wreath as a form of protest amid public criticism surrounding health sector controversies.

Earlier, the court directed police to seek legal advice from the Attorney General’s Department and submit relevant video evidence for review.
