A region in Victoria is set to launch a free barista training course for young people.
The course aims to help students in Corangamite, Victoria, develop job skills during the April school holidays.
Led by the Corangamite Shire Council, the initiative is open to young people aged 15 to 25.
The one-day training will teach participants how to prepare coffee using modern machines in a restaurant setting.
Baristas have gained significant popularity both in Australia and globally.
