A Gazette notification has announced the creation of a Presidential Task Force to oversee the government’s ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ program.
The task force is made up of 18 members, including President’s Secretary Dr. N. S. Kumanayake and the Commanders of the tri-forces.
The Presidential Task Force will plan, guide, implement, and review the progress of the “Clean Sri Lanka” program, aiming to advance society through social, environmental, and ethical awareness.
It will also establish an organizational structure to support the program’s implementation from the national to the rural level.
