Thousands of Australian lottery players are being urged to check their old tickets, with a life-changing $774,826.59 Saturday Gold Lotto prize just days away from expiring.

The winning ticket was purchased at Gatton Plaza News Agency, west of Ipswich in Queensland, for a draw held in July 2019. If the prize is not claimed by July 6, the winner will lose the chance to collect the jackpot.
The winning numbers were 15, 18, 23, 30, 41 and 44, with supplementary numbers 1 and 5.
Lottery officials say the unclaimed ticket is one of 12 major lottery prizes across Australia, worth a combined $154 million. They are urging players to search old wallets, drawers, cars and forgotten ticket collections.
The Lott says registering tickets through its Members Club helps ensure winners can be contacted immediately, preventing life-changing prizes from going unclaimed.
Players who believe they may hold the winning ticket are encouraged to check their numbers online, scan their ticket, or visit a lottery outlet before the deadline expires.
