Chamari to lead SL women in tri-series

Chamari Atapattu will captain the 17-member Sri Lanka Women’s squad in the upcoming Tri-Nation ODI Series with India and South Africa, starting 27th of April

The tournament will be held at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, with each team playing one another twice.

The top two teams will meet in the final on 11th of May

Sri Lanka has made several changes to the squad following their recent defeat against New Zealand.

Uncapped spinner Malki Madara has earned a call-up after an impressive T20I debut in New Zealand.

Piumi Wathsala and Dewmi Vihanga, also uncapped, have been included in the new-look squad.

The Tri-Series will serve as key preparation for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 in India.

Sri Lanka will play their first match against India on 27th of April followed by matches on 2nd ,4th and 9th of May before the final.
