Centrelink has issued an early Christmas notice to benefit recipients, highlighting changes to service availability over the holiday period.
With the rising cost of living, many Australians are eager to access Centrelink benefits this Christmas, but it has been announced that services will not be available on 25th, 26th , and 1st of January.
Grant recipients will be able to report their income again starting 2nd of January .
Due to these holidays, submission dates for income reports and payment schedules for many allowances have been adjusted.
For instance, if an income report was originally due on 20th of December the new revised date will be 19th of December.
Centrelink has already provided updated information on the revised dates, and recipients can access all relevant details through the Centrelink website.
