The risk of uncontrolled bushfires continues to spread, with emergency warnings already issued for several areas.
Residents in the Mirranatwa and Watgania regions, as well as those near Mafeking close to the Grampians National Park, have been urged to evacuate immediately. Victoria Emergency Services have made it clear that they will not take responsibility for those who remain in these high-risk areas.
Emergency authorities have emphasized the urgency of evacuation, as the threat of forest fires is expected to escalate in the coming hours.
Emergency Services Victoria has also warned that assistance may not be available for people who choose to stay in vulnerable areas during the crisis.
