Bayer acquitted in Australian birth control device (Essure) case

Australian women have come forward with allegations regarding the Essure contraceptive device.

It is said that more than 1,400 women had filed this case against the Brayer company.
The Chief Justice of Victoria has said that the case was lost because the women failed to prove that Essure, a birth control device, caused major health problems.

It is said that Australian women filed a lawsuit in 2018 complaining of excessive pain and excessive bleeding.

It is reported that Bayer stopped distributing Essure in Australia after31st of December 2018 and after that Essure was not seen in any market.

It is stated that a decision will be taken in the coming days so that an appeal can be submitted next year.
