The Department of Ayurveda has announced its decision to recruit 304 Ayurvedic doctors as part of efforts to enhance Sri Lanka’s traditional healthcare services.
Commissioner Dr. Dhammika Abeygunawardena stated that the official gazette notification regarding the recruitment will be published next week.
Once the gazette is issued, the recruitment process will begin through a formal application system open to eligible candidates.
The newly appointed Ayurvedic doctors are expected to commence their duties from 1st of August the Commissioner confirmed.
This initiative aims to strengthen the reach and quality of Ayurvedic medical care across the country.
