Australia’s World cup-winning captain Michael Clarke diagnosed with skin cancer

Former Australian cricketer Michael Clarke has been diagnosed with skin cancer, a condition he was first diagnosed with in 2006, he revealed in a post on Instagram.

The 44-year-old shared a photo from what appeared to be a hospital bed, showing a bandage on his nose, and urged his followers to regularly check their skin for abnormalities.

Clarke also expressed gratitude to Sydney-based specialist Dr. Bish Soliman for detecting the condition early.

Skin cancer occurs due to the unregulated multiplication of skin cells, often caused by ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun or tanning beds, and is the most common type of cancer globally.

Clarke emphasized that early detection and treatment are critical for successful outcomes
