Australia’s unemployment rate remained stable at 4.1% in February, according to the latest data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
However, the number of employed professionals dropped by 53,000, reflecting a decline in older workers returning to the workforce.
At the same time, the number of unemployed individuals fell by 11,000, indicating mixed labor market trends.
Experts suggest that shifts in workforce participation, particularly among older workers, contributed to the overall decrease in employment figures.
