Australia’s fuel prices to drop soon

The opposition Liberal Party has pledged to cut the Cess tax on fuel as part of its election campaign.

In his budget response speech, Opposition Leader Peter Dutton announced that if elected, his government would implement this tax cut for 12 months.

The policy is expected to cost $6 billion.

According to estimates, an Australian family with a vehicle could save around $28 per week under this plan.

Dutton has criticized the current Labor government, accusing it of failing to address the cost-of-living crisis affecting Australians.
