Australian travellers are being offered a major boost, with Qantas and Virgin Australia launching huge flight sales featuring nearly two million discounted seats.

Virgin Australia has released around one million fares starting from just $49, while Qantas is offering more than 800,000 discounted seats across domestic routes, with fares starting from $99.

The deals cover popular holiday periods, including the 2026–27 summer travel season, giving Australians cheaper options for domestic and selected international trips.

The airlines say the promotions aim to encourage travel demand as families look for more affordable holiday options.

Travellers are being urged to book early, as the discounted seats are limited and available only for selected routes and dates.
