Prime Minister Anthony Albanese officially announced today that the 2025 federal election will be held on 3rd of May .
He made this announcement after promising tax cuts for all Australian taxpayers starting 1st of July following the budget.
Meanwhile, Greens leader Adam Bandt stated at a press conference that he expects Labor to win but with a minority government.
He also announced plans for a massive protest against the budget.
