Australia has announced a pledge of AUD 500,000 to support urgent humanitarian assistance in Sri Lanka, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The funding will help protect disaster-affected women and girls by strengthening life-saving sexual and reproductive health services, improving gender-based violence referral systems, and providing psychosocial support.
These initiatives will be implemented across 10 of the country’s hardest-hit districts, ensuring timely and targeted assistance for vulnerable communities.
