Australia has announced a 16-member squad for the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka.
Steve Smith is expected to lead the team in the two-match series.
The first match is scheduled for 12th of February at the R. Premadasa International Stadium.
Notably, several new players have been included in the squad this time, offering fresh talent an opportunity to shine.
The Australian squad includes Sean Abbott, Alex Carey, Cooper Connolly, Ben Dwarshuis, Nathan Ellis, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Spencer Johnson, Aaron Hardie, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Marnus Labuschagne, Glenn Maxwell, Tanveer Sangha, Matt Short, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, and Adam Zampa.
