The U.S. Embassy in Sri Lanka has announced that applications are now open for the Fulbright Program Visiting Scholar Awards.
According to the Embassy, the program offers Sri Lankan academics, artists, and professionals the opportunity to undertake post-doctoral research, teaching, performance, consulting, and other professional activities in the United States.
The award provides comprehensive support, including a living stipend, round-trip airfare, health insurance, and additional benefits.
Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their applications before the October 1, 2026 deadline.
