Apple unveils budget iPhone

Apple has announced the iPhone 16e, a new addition to the iPhone 16 lineup that delivers high performance at a more affordable price.

Powered by the A18 chip and Apple’s first in-house cellular modem, the C1, the iPhone 16e offers smooth performance, long battery life, and seamless Apple Intelligence integration while prioritizing privacy.

Its 48MP Fusion camera, with a built-in 2x Telephoto lens, ensures high-quality photos and videos.

Additionally, Apple’s satellite features—including Emergency SOS, Roadside Assistance, Messages, and Find My—keep users connected even outside cellular and Wi-Fi coverage.

The iPhone 16e will be available in matte black and white finishes, with colorful case options. Pre-orders start on 21st of February with availability beginning 28th of February.

“We’re excited for iPhone 16e to complete the lineup as a powerful, more affordable option that brings the iPhone experience to even more people,” said Kaiann Drance, Apple’s VP of Worldwide iPhone Product Marketing.

The iPhone 16e comes in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options, starting at $599 or $24.95 per month for 24 months.
