The Ape Janabala Party has officially announced its decision to extend full support to the government led by the National People’s Power (NPP).
In a statement issued by General Secretary Chinthaka Weerakoon, the party confirmed that its supreme council had unanimously agreed to cooperate with the government in advancing its development and reform agenda.
The statement further noted that the party would also support the NPP in the upcoming elections.
It added that the Ape Janabala Party intends to back the government’s positive decisions and offer necessary guidance to ensure the successful implementation of national programs introduced by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
