Angelo Mathews fulfills wish of terminally Ill young fan

Sri Lankan cricketer Angelo Mathews recently visited a terminally ill young fan as part of the Make-A-Wish campaign organized by the Indira Cancer Trust.

The visit fulfilled the heartfelt dream of the child, a passionate cricket fan who had always longed to meet one of his sporting heroes.

Mathews spent time engaging warmly with the child, creating cherished memories and bringing smiles during a difficult time.

Sharing his thoughts on social media platform ‘X’, Mathews said, “Was great to be a part of Make a wish campaign by #indiracancertrust — quite amazed by what they do to help children with cancer! Everyone deserves a second shot at life and let us all unite to make a better place for children and let’s help out in whatever way possible.”
