

The Agricultural and Agrarian Insurance Board has disbursed Rs. 1,669 million under the National Crop Insurance Scheme, benefiting 81,234 farmers engaged in cultivating paddy, maize, chilli, and potato.

The Board also noted the introduction of several cattle and goat insurance projects under the Livestock Insurance Scheme, designed to protect and support livestock farmers.
In addition, it reported a strong financial performance, with its total assets rising to Rs. 2,491 million this year.
