Accident strikes Christmas market in Germany

A car drove into a Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany, killing two people, including a small child.

More than 60 others were injured in the incident, according to foreign reports.

The tragic event occurred yesterday afternoon when a vehicle plowed into the crowded market.

Police have arrested the driver, identified as a 50-year-old Saudi Arabian national.

Authorities revealed that the suspect deliberately rented the car to carry out the attack.

The police have classified the incident as an act of terrorism.
