36 items were found in parcel that fell over the wall of Boossa Prison

Security officials at Boossa Prison have recovered a parcel containing a range of prohibited items that was thrown over the prison’s wall.

The parcel included four smartphones, one SIM card, ten phone chargers, seven data cables, seven hands-free sets, and seven packets of tobacco.

Such items are strictly banned inside prison premises due to their potential use in illegal communications and security breaches.

Prison authorities have launched an immediate investigation to trace the origins of the parcel and identify individuals involved in the smuggling attempt.

Acting Superintendent of Boossa Prison stated that “We are committed to ensuring the safety and security of the prison. Those responsible for attempting to smuggle these items will be held accountable under the law.”

Authorities are appealing to the public to assist by reporting any suspicious activities near prison boundaries.
