Every household in Western Australia will get $350 off their next electricity bill as the state government rolls out the second tranche of its electricity subsidy.
The next installment of the $700 home electricity loan will start this weekend, while the $350 installment will be applied to Synergy and Horizon bills from 7th of December.
The WA Government said households with a direct bill account with Synergy or Horizon Power would have the credit automatically applied to their next bill after today.
Households without an account with Synergy or Horizon Power can apply for assistance through RevenueWA, with applications closing on 31st January 2025.
The WA Government said households needing extra support could get extra electricity bill relief through the Energy Assistance Payment and the Dependent Child Discount.
This discount is one of a number of state and territory government discounts and concessions available in Australia.
